The ABCs of Paradise Found, published by Wordeee (WORDEEE.COM) is a stunning book by author / journalist KAREN AMANDA TOULON, and artist / illustrator ERIC RHINEHART.

The book and Rhinehart’s watercolors will be exhibited at ANTHONY LIGGINS’ GALLERY 88, 237 20th St C, Miami Beach, FL – opening reception on January 22, 2022, 6-9 PM.

Karen Amanda Toulon is an award-winning multiplatform journalist and host who covers global business, economic & cultural news. She has worked with Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC and CBS Radio. She received a Gwen Ifill Award from the Interna6onal Women’s Media Founda6on and a Pegasus Award from the Newswomen’s Club of New York for leadership in diversity and mentoring. She was part of the team repor6ng on Black-owned small businesses for Bloomberg’s Businessweek earning a Society for Advancing Business Editors & Writers (SABEW) Award. Born in London and raised in New York, she received a BA from Dartmouth College and MS from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.

Inspired by family stories and her own experiences, The ABCs of Paradise Found is her first collabora6on with her husband, Eric Rhinehart. They have two daughters and live in New Jersey.

Eric Rhinehart is a painter, photographer, and graphic designer who has worked as an illustrator and art director for corporate clients for more than 30 years while pursuing his painting and photography careers. His watercolors capture the characteris6cs and cultures of the people and places his travels have taken him; South Africa, Ghana, several islands in the Caribbean, England, France, and Spain. Eric also taught watercolor classes at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey and the Hunterdon Art Museum. His works have been exhibited in solo/group shows in New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, his hometown, Detroit, and Gallery 88, Miami. Eric earned his BFA from Parsons School of Design in New York.

Anthony Liggins is a Miami-based artist and gallerist, whose work has been exhibited worldwide and is included in many important collections.  Liggins founded Gallery 88 – a combination studio and gallery in Miami Beach near the Bass Museum – in 2011.

PATRICE SAMARA, COO of Wordeee, a publishing and media company, is an Emmy/multiple media and philanthropic award-winner and author of seven cross-cultural books. She has been in media and communications for 20+ years, is a serial entrepreneur, and worked in over thirty-five countries.
