NICHOLAS GRIFFIN is a journalist and author of four novels and three works of nonfiction. His writing has appeared in The Times (London), the Financial Times, and Foreign Policy, among other publications.

Griffin was born in London, left at the age of 18, and spent the next twenty years in New York. He then moved to Miami in the summer of 2013 where he now lives with his wife and two children.

Griffin adapted his 2020 book, “The Year of Dangerous Days,” into a play, “Dangerous Days,” which was produced by Miami New Drama and will open on April 4, 2024, at the the Colony Theatre on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach.

Griffin’s new, “English Only,” is also based on events in Miami in 1980, and will open at the Colony Theatre on January 29th, running through February, 13th.

In 2020, ArtSpeak published a video conversation with Griffin covering the full arch of his career to that point.
