LISA NALVEN is a former dancer turned professional photographer. She has danced and photographed worldwide.
She grew up in a bar/restaurant/nightclub in Manhattan, owned and operated by her family. This gave her the skills to talk and connect with all sorts of people from all walks of life.
After moving to South Florida, Nalven became one of the main photographers of the Bold Beauty Project – creating transformative portraits of women with disabilities.
