JAN FOX is a 4-Time TV Emmy Award Winner and holds the prestigious National Consumer Affairs Reporter Award for her work on life-saving Protective Child Car Seat Checks. That long term series of reports also netted her the Annual Total Station Community Service Award for the Washington, D.C. CBS affiliate, WUSA -TV 9.

Fox reported and anchored on WUSA 9 for almost 2 decades. Before that, she anchored the NBC Evening News in Portland, Maine. She also hosted the popular ABC talk show in Boston – “Sunday Open House.” There, she won her first cherished Emmy for LIVE STUDIO SHOW.

Fox has recorded interviews with many impactful people, including Dolly Parton, Maya Angelou, Yo-Yo Ma, Jane Fonda, Steven Spielberg, Gene Wilder, Racquel Welch, Jim Neighbors, Marvin Hagler, Doug Flutie and many others, plus several US Presidents: Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, and a one-liner from H. W. Bush.

Fox retired from TV news broadcasting, and for several years, she has led the award-winning executive communications program – Step Up To the Mic – at George Washington University. Her clients have included Capital One, Accenture, IBM, plus many associations and non-profits.  Fox has coached 175 + TEDx speakers, some with millions of views.
