IGOR SHTEYRENBERG is executive director of the Miami Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) and is responsible for its overall programming and administration. Under his leadership, MJFF has seen a revitalization of its brand, an audience growth from 4,000 to over 30,000, and was recognized as “The Best Jewish Film Festival in the US” by The Forward and “The Best Film Festival in South Florida” by Miami New Times and Miami’s Community Newspapers. He teaches film aesthetics at Florida International University and has presented at various conferences about film festival management and organization, including the Berlin Film Festival (Berlinale), Goethe-Institut in Germany, Jewish Film Presenters Conference, the University of Pennsylvania, and the Jerusalem Film Workshop. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts.
