DAVID MODIGLIANI is an award-winning documentarian with a unique knack for capturing the intimate human experience of politics. His Tribeca-winning narrative podcast, Pack One Bag, featuring Stanley Tucci, has listeners in 165 countries. The Financial Times calls it “a remarkable tale of tragedy and survival, told with eloquence and style.” David’s 2019 film Running with Beto, a behind-the-scenes portrait of then-U.S. Senate candidate Beto O’Rourke, won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at SXSW before premiering on HBO. His feature documentaries for Hulu, Netflix and PBS include Crawford, 61 Bullets and Ready or Not. David holds a BA from Harvard College and an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin.

 

WILLA SIMONE KAUFMAN is a filmmaker, storyteller and producer. She has written and directed several films and music videos, including “The Trance Bardo” (2018), “The Children Are Make Believe” (2016), Lights (2016) and “Eden” (2016). Willa’s work has been shown at the Miami Short Film Festival and was selected for the South Florida PBS Filmmaker’s Project, funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. She was honored as the runner up for the George RR Martin screenwriting grant for her original TV pilot, “This is Not the End.” She developed and produced the Tribeca-winning narrative podcast, “Pack One Bag,” featuring Stanley Tucci. Willa received her MFA in film from the University of Miami in 2018 and her BA in Creative Writing and in Film from the University of Miami in 2014.
