After 6 years of production, Katja Esson’s latest film, “Razing Liberty Square” is finally finished and has become "a powerful and timely film about the demolition of the historic Liberty Square public housing project and its redevelopment as mixed-income housing. The award-winning film explores themes of racism, climate change, the affordable housing crisis and more."
Esson finished her whirlwind national and international festival run and the film's National Broadcast Premiere on PBS/Independent Lens is scheduled for Jan 29.
The film is launching in Miami at the Coral Gables Cinema and will be screened from January 26 to February 1.
